We're awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?
Nope.
You are very much my people.
You aren't expected to arrive knowing how to pose. I'll give you direction, prompts and movement throughout your session so you always have something to do.
The goal isn't to make you perform for my camera.
It's to get you comfortable enough to forget about it occasionally.
How do we book?
Start by filling out my inquiry form.
We'll talk about what you're looking for, choose the right session or collection, and I'll send you everything needed to officially reserve your date.
Your date is not considered booked until the required retainer and agreement have been completed.
Do you require a retainer?
Yes. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due according to the payment schedule in your agreement.
Can we make payments?
Payment plans may be available depending on the collection and how far in advance you're booking. Ask me when you inquire and we'll figure out what makes sense.
How long until we receive our photographs?
Portrait and boudoir galleries are typically delivered within 2–4 weeks.
Wedding galleries are typically delivered within 6–8 weeks.
During especially busy seasons, turnaround times may vary. Your agreement will always include your specific delivery timeframe.
Do we get the RAW files?
No.
Editing is an important part of my work and the finished photographs you receive represent my artistic style.
Your gallery will contain the strongest images from your session, individually edited and ready to enjoy.
Can we print our photographs?
Absolutely.
Your final gallery includes personal printing rights. Professional print options may also be available directly through your gallery.
What happens if the weather is terrible?
Welcome to Utah. 😂
We'll keep an eye on conditions leading up to your session. If the weather makes shooting unsafe or genuinely impossible, we'll work together on another plan.
And sometimes?
A little wind, clouds or unexpected weather makes the photographs even better.
Can you Photoshop me?
Every delivered photograph receives professional editing including color, exposure, cropping and other finishing adjustments.
I may remove temporary distractions such as a blemish or bruise, but my goal isn't to completely reshape your body or turn you into somebody else.
You're already worth photographing.
Will my boudoir photographs be posted online?
Only with your permission.
Boudoir images are personal and your privacy matters.
Your photographs will never be publicly shared simply because you booked a session.
What should we wear?
Once you're booked, I'm happy to help you choose clothing that photographs beautifully and works with the location and overall feeling you're going for.
As a general rule: coordinate rather than perfectly match.
Can I bring inspiration pictures?
Please do!
Inspiration helps me understand what you're drawn to.
We'll use it as a starting point rather than trying to perfectly duplicate somebody else's photographs. Your session should ultimately belong to you.
Do you travel?
Absolutely.
Tell me where we're going.
Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
What if my kids don't cooperate?
Then we'll photograph your actual children. 😂
Seriously—don't panic.
We'll take breaks, change what we're doing, play games and let them warm up.
Some of my favorite photographs happen after we've stopped trying to make children behave perfectly.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens.
Rescheduling and cancellation policies vary depending on the type of session and circumstances and will be clearly outlined in your agreement.
